Meet Emily Wells, Au.D., CCC-A
Independent, locally owned hearing care in Spanish Fort. One audiologist, seen consistently, from the first test through every adjustment afterwards.
Emily Wells, Doctor of Audiology
Previously practiced as Dr. Emily Domingue.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Mississippi and a Doctorate of Audiology from The University of South Alabama.
Before opening Nautilus Hearing, she worked in private practice in Foley, Alabama.
Her clinical focus is the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus and cochlear implants.
What that means day to day is unhurried appointments. Hearing loss is rarely a simple technical problem — it affects work, relationships, and confidence, and the decisions around it are easier to make when someone has taken the time to explain the options rather than present a price list.
How the practice works
Independent means the recommendation is not shaped by a manufacturer’s contract or a corporate sales target. It also means you see the same person each time, which matters more than it sounds — hearing aid outcomes depend heavily on the adjustments made after the first fitting, and those go better when someone remembers your history.
If something you need falls outside audiology, you will be told so and pointed toward the right clinician. That is part of the job, not a failure of it.
Come in and talk it through
A conversation about what you are noticing is the simplest place to start.
